Magdalena Majewska-Smoleńska
cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist
I am a psychologist and a cognitive-behavioral therapist in training. I completed my psychology studies at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. I am currently participating in a four-year cognitive-behavioral therapy training program accredited by the Polish Society of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy at the CBT-EDU Center in Warsaw.
I have gained professional experience by working, interning, and completing placements in public and private clinics, as well as in psychiatric hospitals.
In my therapeutic work, I am interested in understanding the other person, the desire to help, and comprehending the patient’s perspective. I strive to create a friendly atmosphere so that the patient feels comfortable and safe in the office. I focus on building a partnership-based relationship, ensuring that the agreed-upon goals are systematically reviewed and achieved according to the plan.
I regularly improve my qualifications by participating in numerous specialized courses. My work is subject to regular supervision by certified specialists. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, and experimenting in the kitchen
